Skopelos is one of the greenest islands in Greece. Here, where the green of the pine-trees and the dense forest mix with the deep blue of sea and sky, creating the picture of unrivalled nature beauty, you will find yourself in an idyllic land, in a small paradise in the very heart of Greece. In the north, the picturesque town of Skopelos with its small houses close together as in a tight embrace, surrounding the castle and spreading down to the port, nowadays the barbarians don’t threaten the island any were. Between the houses, little churches all around, which the Skopelitans care for with special respect, are continuing to strictly preserve their religion traditions. The natural small harbour of “Blo”, next to Panormos, offers shelter to all vessels, small and large.
