A thousand sunsets, a thousand memories, a thousand heartbeats, colours of blue red & gold streaking the sky ... this is Santorini island ... Poets have written about it, artists attempt to capture its beauty. Nothing can quite describe ... the unsurpassed magic of Santorini. This tiny Greek island in the Aegean Sea, rich in history & steeped in myth, is situated on the southern east tip of the Cyclades Cluster. Rocky steep terrain on the caldera side (west coast), volcanic rock, pumices stone, unusual rock formations. Other areas have a gentler terrain. Climate is moist, warm summers with cool evenings. August has the famous 'Meltemia' winds. There is a sparse rainfall during the winter months. Cave Houses (dug into the volcanic rock), neo classical mansions, cobbled streets and winding paths, domed churches (many with a blue dome), and most houses have a dome at some part of the roof structure.

Fira town is the capital on the famous Santorini caldera. Just above Fira, on the hill, is Firostefani. The name implies 'The Crown of Fira'. Fira is famous for the Volcano Views & Sunsets, the Cable Car,cafes, restaurants, clubs, cafes & nightlife, museums, gold shops and the main shopping area.

Sightseeing
AKROTIRI: On the western tip of Santorini Island one can find the village of Akrotiri. High up on the Caldera, Akrotiri faces the volcano and the sunsets. Archaeological excavations, the lighthouse, Akrotiri Red beach, White beach, fish taverns, a small marina, panoramic Volcano views.

OIA: The beauty of Oia is unsurpassed. In fact, it is almost impossible to describe in words. Small white houses tier the hillside, interspersed by splashes of rich okra, deep fuchsia, cobalt blue, oyster pink and earthy red. Smooth winding paths interconnect, interrupted now and then by a small church, and at every corner there is something new to discover. Oia is one of the most photographed places in Greece, if not the world. It has inspired artists, poets and every visitor who visits Santorini. Oia is best known for breathtaking sunsets; if truth be told, sunrise in Oia is also magical.

PYRGOS: Pyrgos can found at the highest point of Santorini, with panoramic views of the whole island all the way to the village of Oia. This hillside village was declared a protected settlement in 1995. Traditional architecture, remains of neo-classical mansions, narrow winding paths leading up the hillside, small white houses, galleries, vineyards, churches, breathtaking sunsets. Pyrgos is truly magical.

MONASTERY OF PROFITIS ILIAS: Beautiful monastery on the highest mountain of the island (Profitis Ilias, 568 meters) nearby Pyrgos.
