Mykonos is so beautiful; it is no accident that it has become one of the most desired destinations in the world. Mykonos offers the cosmopolitan lifestyle, the sophisticated nightlife and the historic treasures of the nearby Delos to its stunning natural beauties and picturesque villages.

Although one of the smallest islands of the Cyclades complex, Mykonos is definitely the most famous, thanks to its treasure of natural beauty, rich history, cosmopolitan character combined with a wild nightlife, as well as plenty of local colour. The island's landscape is a symphony of blazing bare rock, blinding white peasant architecture and, in contrast to its small size, numerous lacy stretches of the most beautiful sandy beaches, all these accentuated by the wonderful Mediterranean light and set against the deep blue background of the Aegean.

Sightseeing
MYKONOS TOWN: The Island’s port town and capital, is still considered by many as the Greek Saint-Tropez and it never fails to allure the crowds that flood it every year, thanks to its unique character that locals have managed to preserve almost intact to this day. Around narrow, whitewashed streets there are white cubicle houses clustered, with their tiny balconies, colored windows and liliput yards lined by bougainvillea and pots of basilicum. Numerous little churches and chapels, hidden minuscule piazzas and water wells, as well as the multitude of colourful shops are there to further accent this chaotic picturesque setting, where a simple stroll can turn into the most exhilarating experience

MONASTERY OF TOURLIANI: There has been a monastery on this site since the sixth century, though the current buildings date mainly from the 16th-18th centuries. The monastery is worth the 4.3-mi/7-km trip to the village of Ano Mera. The most striking feature is the altar screen, which contains some unusual.

MONASTERY OF PALEOKASTROU: The monastery was built in the 18th Century and looks like a fortress.

TA TRIA PIGADIA: This means "The three sources. It’s the only water source in town since the city.

CHURCH PARAPORTIANI: It is one of this island's most photographed buildings. Panagia Partortiani is also known as Our Lady of the Postern Gate. It was built in the 16th century and it is actually 5 churches.

DELOS: Delos was the most important Panhellenic sanctuary, and, according to mythology, the birth-place of Apollo and Artemis."
